TERRIBLE worthless staff. Who hires those immature youngins?? I flew in from Germany and this elderly German lady in a wheelchair found out her luggage was lost, she spoke no Spanish and no English, but at the Lost and Found counter they forced her to download a translator app before they could even file the Loss report for her. They just didn't care.
After a while, people become desesitinzed to certsin situations. The people working at the Lost and Found counter in any airport have been in hundreds of similar cases. Happen the same to doctors, sales people, etc... While everyone likes to think they are super unique, in reality most people can be placed within a very select categories of how they react to certain situations since most people react in one of those ways.

Inorder to help anyone in any situation, the first thing must be the workers understanding the other person. That they insisted on her downloading a translation app says to me that the person that knows German wasn't working at that time (could had called in sick or whatever). The question is if they don't speak German and the lady doesn't speak Spanish or English, would it had been better for them to simply ignore this lady and let her domplain in a language they can't understand and do nothing? She was probably not the first person to go to the Lost and Found counter on that day.
