Nothing is free, (well - except maybe herpes), because, as Woody Allen said:

Sure Thing !!! 1.) Order 2.) Pay with your Credit Card 3.) Never see you Merchandise !!!! The website of them does not even have any company registration details. They only have a 809 Number for costumer support that is (after checking) registered with skype ! STAY AWAY !!!!

Free doesn't exist, only in problems...free problems you can/will have in life.
Their products are about 60% more expensive as on Ebay....

I compared the price of some supplements I recently ordered on Amazon for $26 USD, and they offer the exact same for the low price of $46! But wait...free shipping! I will continue to use EPS.

$16.50 vs $27.21

My recent vitamin purchase........ bought y'day

Now BMCargo will charge me.... the gap won't be so big but it's a 280 ct of vitamins.....shouldn't be $10 at BMCargo

May not be as bad as it looks..... we should try a heavier item

This may be a good deal....

Lawn mower wheels cost me 580DOP to ship at BMCargo - 2lbs+
Cheaper with these people by $5 or so

Worth comparing

Delivery times seem long..... shipments must be by sea

Faster delivery at BMCargo.... air, but costly by the pound

I also did some comparing. For smaller items then I think it's much cheaper to buy on Amazon and ship using the normal shippers. But for heavier items, and also for items which cost more than US$ 200, this looks like an interesting option. I was looking at some garden loungers for example which are US$ 180 on Amazon and US$ 201 on TiendaMia. Air costs on those would be very high. The thing I don't understand is that the law says you have to pay tax on any internet purchases over US$ 200, so I can't quite see how they get around this if you buy something for more than US$ 200.

Answered my own question...

It's worth noting that they say they will charge taxes on any purchases over US$ 200 (like other shippers do, it's the law in DR). This is buried in their terms and conditions:

I was also wondering how their returns work and basically they say you need to pay for shipping back to Miami. So again no improvement on using other air shippers.

I can't really see that this is going to be a game-changing service in DR. Pretty much everyone here knows how to buy on Amazon and bring it over and there is a very well developed network of couriers who do this. TiendaMia seems well established in other countries, but I wonder how well they will do in DR.

I went all the way to buy, and they add customs at the end of the check-out process if over 200.00. but Im curious who delivers?? I think the sweet spot would be a heavy item under 200.00 ? someone needs to try, jijiji

Their picture shows a package being sent by USPS express mail. If that's the case, then it comes by air and a person has to sign for the receipt.
I also checked their prices (including a couple things I bought on Amazon in the last 2 weeks or so, and the prices are close to double.

I think their model maybe works better in other countries where they don't have the $200 rule we have here. Everyone in DR already knows how to buy on Amazon or eBay and get it sent over

If they don't deliver, where would you have to pick it up?

I just compared a Weber Q1000 grill on Amazon with Tiendamia - $229 vs $252, so $33 more, but I would have to pay around $100US in shipping with Amazon. Looks like Tiendamia is worth considering for heavier items. The question is whether or not they deliver to your door and how long ?

🤔🤔 … time to take this for a test drive ….the shipping costs seem to be baked into the price …fair enough ….and for items heavier than 10 pounds…maybe a good deal .

So , Heinz baked beans 12 pack for the kids …. a sack of Organic jasmine rice …para la suegra…both under $50 …and currently costing more than double the item price to ship 😩….If that works out …the electric roaster oven🤤 , gadgets and car parts over 10 pounds will be is next !🤫

The difference is 'tiendamia' will go thru customs..... a mudanza will have the tax built in

The over $200 is where it goes awry.....

Heavy and under $200.... you're good....... and can wait for the delivery.... same as mudanza timing
