Heat treatment roof

I think I will go with a white Lanco sealer, for sealing and a bit reflection. Our new house will be delivered all painted up but the roof is rough concrete and untreated. Might have to level it out first because at one visit I saw standing water in one corner and the surface is not smooth at all. What is the general life expectancy of a Lanco treated surface before you have to reapply it?

What brand? I may have to paint the roof in the near future....
Thanks

I cannot remember the brand when I originally applied it ( after getting rid of tarmac ). Sorry.

I use Lanco brand every other year to apply an extra layer.

All those paints comes up with a number on the bucket, like 3,5 or 10. That means the years of effective function of the paint. BUT I never wait 10 years for painting the roof again, I do it every 4 years and as today I've no problems ( the roofs are 12 and 14 years old).
I painted with Lanco, Cano and others all are good.

Maybe spreading one of those reflective tarps on the roof would help (like the thing you put on car's windshield to block the sun), and I don't think they're that expensive.

Before hand, on rough concrete, there is a liquid one applies, as thin as water but sticky as hell, it goes into all the cracks and crevices, and sort of hardens. It makes applying the sealer much easier/smoother.

I use this on both my homes. Bought it at Ochoa in Santiago. Don't remember the price. Applied Lanco Siliconizer afterward.....no issues since.

Thank you, just another Question, Do you apply this primer to brute cement on new roof, that is before the finishing cement coat which they call here (apanete-Spelling)?

I am sure the primer goes on top of the finished cement layer. It is a primer for the roof coating, not the pañete.
What a primer normally does is getting into the pores of the underlaying material for a better ‘grip’ and providing a suitable top surface for the finishing product, a roof sealer in this case.
