In my case I just go with about 1/4" for what is left so it only needs to be cut every couple of weeks.

I thought oil would clog pores if used on face.

I have tried coconut oil in my hair. Doesn't do anything other than when wearing it. I have lots and lots of thick hair. Used to be a bit way, now with age is coarse as hell (especially the lower layers). I'm now using an avocado conditioner/leave on/mask, like for everything made by Garnier. It's pretty good. Will try the overripe avocado mask next.

This (or any other virgin coconut oil) is all you need, your hair will be like silk. 100% natural and cheap. Use it on your face too.

Internet says it will clog your pores but never did mine. If that is a concern use Jojoba Oil or even better Hemp Seed Oil (not CBD oil). I'm a bit OCD when it comes to oils hahaha. 😉🙂

Mix injectable B Complex with any treatment. It makes hair softer.

Use Mane and Tail Shampoo and conditioner. It is a US product made for horses, but is very good for humans. It deep cleans so much hair starts to grow back. The conditioner is superb. Available in one liter bottles about 7 bucks Cdn. You will not regret it.

I bought some of this and have been using it since you recommended it. No more hair falling out.
