Pretty cool. It would be interesting to see fotos from night. The lights or lack thereof should be evident.
indeed.. and that is a real concern because with more development, come more lights and the more lights there are, the less starlight. I do not think that enough attention is being brought to this. When I was last in Las Terrenas, my little place had upgraded their outdoor lights for the comfort and security of their guests and I could not see the stars from the garden.

This is an interesting photo. Santo Domingo, Santiago and the north coast are not surprisingly pretty lit up. The most interesting aspect of the photo is the contrast with Puerto Rico which looks like a spotlight compared with Hispanola.
