We are counting the days now, Jan 18th can't come soon enough.
Planner, so are you going to hook up with us for a beer during the week so we can drop some supplies and of course a paper off to you :?

:bunny: I cant believe I have booked my vacation so far in advanced but
I have......aug 4th. As a long time DR tripper I usually book 2 weeks to two months at the most but couldnt ( as I am bringing family) help myself. Look forward to seeing some DR1 family!:bunny:

Anyone else wants to "hook up" just let me know..... The price of admission is a newspaper from where ever you are from (in English LOL) and some school supplies for the kids.

I am having a tough time finding sites with reviews of Holiday Village. I would like to know which sites anyone has been to that is offering first hand reviews.
Normally I goto Tripadvisor, but haven't seen any reviews yet. I know Debbies has a couple, but that is everything I am able to find.
Any other sites out there?

The problem is the hotel has only been re opened for less then 4 weeks. So anyone who has been has not been home long and on top of that they are dealing with Christmas. Give it some time and you will start to see more reviews. You have pretty much found the sites.
i know holiday truths will have some reviews on soon but they are closed to new post untill after xmas.

We live in Ottawa, thus 4 hr drive to the airport. But as the saying goes:
Half the fun is getting there. Coming home and driving 4 hrs will be a drag, but we are not thinking that far ahead

we live a hour away from the airport then the 8 1/2 hr flight me and the kids so excited and the better half will be having a couple of beers before he even gets on the plane ha ha, he does not like flying

We leave tomorrow!!!!! Limo is picking us up at 3:30 am!!!!!!!!!! I have your number Planner and will give you a call probably on Friday. Going to Ocean World on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing the sun. Will post info when we return. We are taking two teenagers with us so will have info from them as well on what they enjoyed. We will be staying in the regular rooms. Planner, you can take photos if you want them to post on the site. The reviews on Debbie's Dominican said you can't get food between 3 pm and 6:30 pm so I'll let you know about that. The review also said they don't clean the rooms every day. I plan on going for a massage and my husband is going to check out the gym so we'll post info on those areas as well. The resort is sold out for this week so hopefully we'll see some of you there.
