Truthfully, I once stayed at a place in the Appalachian mountains that looked like that image. Was feeling pretty good about it until the extensive doll collection in the lobby spooked me.
Once coached a team of University students who were complaining about the Tripadvisor rating of a future hotel in Thunder Bay. Told them that if the place burned to the ground while we were there, they would have memories the would last a lifetime.
