IOf you have dynamic IP address, I suspect this will happen every time you log on.
The request to verify came back when I attempted to log on this afternoon.
Instead of verifying, I changed my VPN IP address, and then did not have to verify.
As I said earlier, same thing sometimes happens when trying to use Netflix or Amazon Prime.
If you are using a VPN, Learn to live with the flow.
This frikking sucks!!! I have a normal IP address and this is REALLY starting TO PI$$ ME OFF!!!
I turned down the firewall a bit, should not be as problematic. IP shouldn't matter unless you're coming from a known bot network. More likely it's some kind of ad blocker or privacy shield, which might be on your network and you don't realize it. Even some countries and companies have a perimeter proxy that records traffic and can mangle your headers.
VPN should be ok. I use ExpressVPN plus a couple of my own servers. Haven't had issues.
I've not ever gotten the stackpath captcha thing but somebody sent me a screenshot.
Anyway it's turned down a bit. I'll take a look at the logs.
It doesn't suck Frank. It just is, buddy. Just like when you're on the morning commute in cold freezing rain. You may say "this is dreadful weather". But that's in your mind. The weather just is. We all make our own problems.

I think I had the firewall turned up a little too much. Protecting user data and content is the priority, however a bad user experience isn't ideal. Hopefully the site will be more accessible now. I still have to figure out the smiley problem, and signature update problem.

I ahve NO problems w/ Amazon or Prime using a VPN....

I usually have to go through a specific location for Amazon.
