How many people do you think are really positive for Covid19 in the DR?

Read the following post (copy of my post in other thread). I would be even afraid of posting anything in this thread or on this board that goes contrary to official figures, they are arresting people for such things as posting videos of ambulances on WhatsApp and Facebook, and saying what they think in an open place like this board is not recommended at this moment. Yes the government has absolutely banned the freedom of speech, apparently.

My post from different thread:

Don't post any videos of ambulances or people sick on streets etc and absolutely do not mention the C-word in such videos. A reporter for Bávaro Digital was detained today for posting a video of an ambulance leaving the PN station in Veron yesterday with 2 sick people and an interview with some others who were detained who mentioned they were _afraid_ of C-word. This reporter was detained in Bavaro and brought to Fiscalía in Higüey, he recorded a video saying he had proof the two sick were diagnosed with epilepsy and something else and not C-word, he was recording the video in front of a huge DICRIM sign of PN. Yet he was not let go for hours afterwards, and the editor in Chief of Bávaro Digital had to intervene personally in-situ for the reporter to be released half a day after he was detained.

Sounds like that Chinese money
working a little magic.

When in the ship building business I would have people come to me ans ask ''How much is a yacht''... no size, no specifications nothing to bid on.
How many people actually have CV-19? Like DAH!

Pretty much spot on with this comment.

I wasnt asking for specific number, I was asking what peoples feelings and experiences and stories were, are the hospitals full of 'flu' patients? Why are doctors leaving? Just want to gauge the likely complete underestimation of the number of cases here. In a weird way it could be a good thing, that so many people already had it
Dominicans have developed an immunity to it. But there are worse scenarios.

There is a video going around of an urban intersection in the DR (filmed from a stationary camera mounted on a building) and at the exact stroke of 5PM literally hordes of Dominican men (mostly men) are running through the intersection and dispersing left, right and straight ahead. 100s and 100s of men. No masks no nothing like a herd of cattle running and fleeing.

If half the Dominican Male population dies off, it would be a blessing for you Old Rotting Decrepit Foreign Men LOL.

I pray to God that Covid exterminated most of the prison populations of La Victoria and Najayo. There is one particular bastard who killed his wife whom I knew.

She was a kind soul as a poor working class MOM who with hard work built her concrete house, her Salon and dutifully took care of her 5 children.

Her estranged husband murdered her by knife slices. I pray to Almighty God that the bastard gets coronavirus and dies slowly and painfully since Dominican Justice doesn't have the balls to exterminate said trash.

It looks like almost twelve days of posts were lost in the migration. No posts between March 31, 11:11 PM and Sunday April 12, 6:34 PM. This bunch shut their gobs all that time? 🤣

There are estimates that for each case we detect there are 70 undetected / asymptomatic. Based on that we could have around 270,000 so far in DR.

If you have a link to this please post it. I have not been able to, specifically, confirm and I'd like to learn more.

Thanks

Honestly, if you're looking for a citation on those numbers, where will they come from? What any normal human can understand is clearly, beyond a shadow of a doubt there exist many-fold cases walking around out there. Cdn_gringo mentioned some logical stuff re this in another post. What is your argument I'm confused? You all think the linear cases growth chart is correct? No disease infects linearly.

I would just like to mention my experience. We both think that we caught the virus. The ambulance has been to the door of our block a couple of times to cart 2 old ladies to hospital. My young wife recovered but I was getting really bad so we went to ER in Union Medica. The hospital is closed as it is full but ER was empty and I was given a bed. They took a couple of test-tubes of blood and the doctor asked me questions about my symptoms. I didn't like it when she shook her head and told my wife that it was bad. I got given a mask and then wheeled off for a chest x-ray. They put something in my arm and squeezed a liquid in and I nearly passed out and the doctor told the nurse to stop. After my tests returned I asked the doctor if I was tested for the covid virus and she replied that they could not do it that day. I got my prescription and we went looking for Ivermectin. Apparently they have found this to be the Dominican Hydroxychloroquine. They have started to test it in the US. After getting home I took the full dose and this morning I felt great. It is a very powerful drug and I wished that I had gone to ER earlier.

Is this the same invermectin they give dogs? What dosage were you given? Taken for days, or one time?
