It had been rising consistently and now we had been getting $2500+ bills lately.

Corassan recently came by twice and said everything is okay and said it could be the in house problem.
But with our pump not running and higher bill then other from day one, and consistent rising, it's hard to believe it could be the problem with the house.
I jokingly tell my wife that with near $6000 luz we are paying now with air conditioner running at night, we might be better off renting a house with those mini pool.

But really, how much are you paying a month?

3000 pesos per month for 10 houses. Fixed amount. For some reason CAASD doesn't manage to install a water meter.

Something have to be up. I know I am paying way more then a small restaurant in Moca but this really is ridiculous.
2 adult 1 kid house with 2 1/2 bathroom 4 rooms but 3 really small rooms and we are paying $2500+ water and about $6000-$7000 electricity.
Last month my wife studying and not came home until 3pm, me pulling overtime until 9, we should not get this kind of bills.
Maybe someone with small pool can give me a number as well.

Anybody with small pool can give me number?

Living in Santiago reasonably large house the water runs at a fixed $1050 per month. We had a meter up to 18 months ago but then Corassan removed it. When we had a meter the bill was generally $720 -800 per month.

I live in Santiago also, in Gurabo. It is a 3 bedroom two bath house. With only two people.
In 2015 with a meter my highest water bill was 850 peso.

In December of 2015 Corrason removed the meter, and now bill us 1337 peso each month.
There are 12 houses in our gated community so this very profitable for them to remove the meters.

Where I live on the north coast, they installed water meters about 3 months ago but do not appear to be reading them. Still playing a flat rate of 676 pesos monthly.

if they have a small black or grey plastic box on top of them, they are read remotely. Considering that this technology is going on 20 years now, I'd figure its about time the DR started using them.

Nothing that appears to contain any electronics is on my water meter. Just a simple counter of how much flows through.

Well my bill is about 25$us a month, but the head of coraplata in cabarete told me if i pay him a bit more when i connected my water initially then he would keep my bill down, as he licked his lips. I thanked this man and then said........."NAHHHHHHH"
He was shocked. I suppose he found it surpising that i could cope with paying an extra $5 a month.
Now if he'd have dropped the price by $20 then we be talking buzzzinezzz
