From DR1 news:

Hacienda Minister Donald Guerrero says that there will be a gradual opening of the economy starting next week, as there are many sectors that want to return to their economic activities. On Monday, 4 May 2020, Economy Minister Ariel Jiménez had said the government did not yet have a date for opening.

“During this month, an opening of the economy will begin, but not precisely on the 11th,” he stated when interviewed on the Hoy Mismo television talk show.

“And that we can start next week, as soon as possible, within the limits of prudence, to begin the economic reactivation, because I know that there are many Dominicans, many businessmen and many workers, who want to resume their activities,” he said.

So not starting a gradual reopening on the 11th, but something will happen soon after the 11th unless it does not. But it will be as soon as possible, nevertheless, perhaps.

Take away food only - I expect.....

Restaurant pickup for hotel room eating
Yes, that's exactly what happened when I stayed at a hotel (not cabana) in Juan Dolio a couple of weeks ago. The hotel restaurant was closed but there was a take-away nearby which I had to use and eat the food in my room. The only problem was that they didn't serve after 4pm of course, so it was an early dinner for me.
