Just for the investors out here .. the rents and house sales are prices are dropping faster than a barrel of oil last week..... rents are down 50% almost all the people that are renting are not even paying rents ... as far as house prices I seen a drop original asking price 475 down to 295...

now the time to lock in a two year lease at half the price also offer 6 months in advance ... that usually does the trick .. as far as house wait another month ... you may get it for free...
Yup. Folks bailing out of joints like Casa Linda taking major hits on modest cookie cutter ranches decorated with ugly tile made from compost.

Not far off Black Knight (BK)

my neighbor- a notorious cheapskate who doesn't live here - has trouble getting & holding staff
Won't pay more than 10K/mo for 7 day , 12 hr shifts

He has switched strategies--
now offers the house for rent - FREE

24/7/365 coverage

Your kinda guy - huh !!??

Alexw, I use common sense and also do not trust things I'm told by any government of the world. All governments have their own agenda and will warp and change the facts to support whatever crazy things they want to push. This coronavirus is not near as bad as it's being made out to be. I have friends in the medical profession here in Florida who are on the front lines right now and they are telling me it's not near as bad as the media is making it out to be. They have told me that in Broward County (next to Miami Dade County), 80% of the coronavirus cases recover at home with little more then flu like symptoms. Of the remaining 20% there are problems and complications but most of this group had pre-existing health problems and practically all of this group recovers even with these pre-existing problems. My point is we are destroying the economy here in the U.S. and also all around the world for something similar to the Flu or Gripe in the words of the DR. This is ridiculous, stupid, asinine and whatever idiotic word you want to put to it. Makes no common sense. It's like saying that cars in the U.S. or the D.R. are killing all these people every year so we must quarantine them, lock them up in their garages so they don't go out and kill all these innocent people. People that don't see the absurdity and danger of this government interference in our lives and business need to wake up before we lose the last few freedoms we have.

I already asked but I'll ask again.
What freedoms have you lost?
And finally, are you saying Trump is attempting to take our rights away?

POP Police chief has been sacked over the sh*t show mentioned above:

What a bunch of horse hockey! They knew he was coming - everyone did. They could have stopped it, but there is this huge theme here in DR you don't speak out against things that are done in the name of the Lord.

I used to get this nut case at 4am coming into the hood with a mic and ghetto blaster preaching the word. Then he would come dead in the middle of the midday meal. One day I was nice and tuned up still from the night before, was on my Jabra talking to a client and I couldn't take it. I walked out front and told him to GTFO. And don't come back and have some respect for others peace. I turned to go back inside and all the chismosos we're out of their houses looking like I just flipped off the man upstairs.

Remember what Ayn Rand said: "No right of mine constitutes an obligation on any man living"

My God, if they can open massage services in Stage 1, they can certainly open beaches.

The freedom to travel and return to my beloved Dominican Republic which I miss terribly. The freedom to leave the house and go anywhere I want, whenever I want to, at whatever time I want to. The freedom to congregate with more then 10 people. The freedom to go and have a nice dinner at a restaurant or a drink at a bar. I could go on and on. We're living in a prison state right now in the DR and everywhere. If that's not loosing freedom I don't know what is and all in the name of a flu-like virus that is proving to have a very small percentage death rate.

Trump is pushing to open back up the U.S. and meeting resistance, so no to your question above. The sooner the U.S. opens the faster the Dominican Republic will open as the DR follows the U.S. on almost everything. So..... the sooner the DR opens the sooner I can come home.

Some of you people are really scary. Ask the family living under a dictatorship what freedom means. It definitely isnt being able to fly back and forth to an island and get drunk with their friends.

In actuality you have the right to think(regardless of how idiotic it may be) how you want
You have the ability to say what you want
And you have the ability to do what you want
You have no idea what a prison state is by the vomit you just produced.

Get over yourself and your sense of entitlement.

Wow, alexw, I think you're the one who needs to get over yourself. I have been nothing but respectful to your snide remarks and bating comments. It's obvious you're a nitpicking do-gooder who likes to get their nose in everyone's business and tell them how stupid they are like you did to other posters. I'm doing everything I can to control myself and not stoop to your low level so I will end it there.

Please tell me where in the DR you live so I don't mistakenly move close to you someday as you're the exact type of person I was hoping to get away from by living in the DR.
