the drive from Luperon to Isabella was awesome

It's a nice town but really small. About 1/2 the size of Sousa, maybe less. If you don't live as a Dom., you will have to travel to get things you are used to. The Ex-Pats there are great, but there's not a lot to do. If you live or visit there you will need a car or good bike. It's an away place. It all depends on what your looking for. Go and stay for a month and see if it's for you.

One day it will be the land of the very very rich. Currently it can be described as scenic, interesting with nice locals and ex pats.

Although it sounds lovely I think I'll have to head for pto plata. Thanks for the info. Maybe Mexico sooner than I thought ah!!
