Funny, I don't own a credit card. Credit card free for about 20 years. Debit card used for groceries and limited other stuff. Use the debit card once a month to pay bills and to take out cash needed for the month. But, for a tourist to use no type of card on vacation doesn't seem quite normal to me. I hope the guy is safe someplace.

Some are not prepared for the realities of this country, "off reservation".
