IDB-backed Cedi-Mujer opens in Santiago

President Luis Abinader and Tony Peña, the coordinator of the Social Policy Cabinet under the Presidency, inaugurated the first Center for Comprehensive Development for Women (CEDI-MUJER) today. Located on Francisco Lora Avenue in La Otra Banda, Santiago, the new initiative is funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The project represents a collaborative effort between the Social Policy Cabinet and various state institutions, all working toward transforming the lives of Dominican women with the backing of President Abinader’s government, according to a press release.
