Agreed, It's got to be horribly tough on some. I would suspect that there is a lot more money being sent down from NA. More then usual I think. There are a lot of us that still have jobs and income, and understand the need to help out. People are suffering thru no fault of their own..

Some would say to hot. I find it both amazing and bewildering that any gov could validate a photo recon for the military, and yet deny the same for the enviroment.
They moved their troops vs. the glacier is retreating. Troops always trump the card game.

Closing them leaves access to the information they contain (for what that's worth) but doesn't allow spammers to post.

As far as nuking them - It's a big task and absorbs a substantial amount of time. While the Covid in the DR has 120+ threads, the North Coast Forum has over 110 thousand posts.

Each has to be read and determine what other threads they impact before nuking them. Not a simple task at all.

And as an example: I was one of the earliest members on this forum with one of the highest post counts. 4 years ago, a spammer posted on an old thread. I responded to him and by mistake, a mod deleted my account instead of the spammer. Once it's gone, it's gone.

I don't want that to happen to anyone.
