importing second hand harley

Im curious. If I see a second hand Harley in EBAY for $8000.00 (for example)
how much import duty tax must I pay? what %? who decides what the bike is worth? Do I show a sales docket to the customs officer (wheich i could easily fabricate?

I am curious because I could tell them I paid $3000, or $4000 for it and pay less tax

They use the Blue Book value and you pay around 48% tax from that price.

Exactly.......and there are plenty for sale here at the moment at very low prices.
