Innauguration closings

Hello, I know August 16th was a holiday.
Can someone tell me if banks and financial institutions were closed on Aug 15th, 17th and 19th for the innauguration?

Definitely opened on the 15th and Monday the 19th. I did several transactions on those days at BHD.

Ok, somebody told me the banks were closed Thursday and Saturday because of the innauguration.
I know the innauguration was 4-5 days, just didn't know if banks closed.

No, just asking. The innaugurations here aren't holidays. Just settling an arguement.

The 16th of August was indeed a bank holiday, government offices closed, ....etc. That is the official inauguration date.
