No. Maybe it's somewhat new, (the letter I received was about 6-8 months ago, but they have a separate address for letter with tracking service. It's not the package address. Cost for the letter was 295 pesos.
I just called them. The cost to send document(s) is $85 USD or about 5000 pesos. % business days for delivery. I forgot to ask which one, but they are obviously using FDX, UPS, or DHL.
Thanks, I'll have to check it out. If they do offer tracking on letter-type items, even for an additional fee, it's worth it.
I think it is somewhat misleading to say a courier has a "mail out" service like the"mail in" services that many do have. There's none that I know of anyway(?). These couriers are all using FDX, UPS, or DHL, and they are very expensive.
The best option I have found so far is at Pick N Send at the Texaco in Sosua. They use DHL and lettrs/documents cost 3246 pesos - a bargain compared to what other couriers have quoted me so far.

Yes, I got tracking updates and the service is a lot faster than their regular mail service.
Just noticed the typo. It's 5 business days for delivery. At 2000 pesos, INPOSDOM is looking like a bargain compared to everyone else.
A big problem is trying to send a letter/document from the D.R. to a U.S. post office.
All the major carriers like FedEx, DHL, etc. can not do it.
U.S. Social Security uses addresses to a P.O. box.
Kinda hard to send verification mail back to them.
Unless you have someone in the U.S to forward it for you, it´s a problem.
That probably only leaves you with INPOSDOM.

I have communicated with Social Security for years on their website.
They just switched me over to their new website on login.gov that required them sending me a code via U.S. mail that I had to enter into their verification site once I received it.
Do you have an online presence with them?
Yes. There is a third party verification service if you wish to use IRS or SSA online. ID.me
JD, did they send that mail item to you here in the DR? If so, how was that done? I ask because I am looking at options to send a letter-type item to myself here. I know EPS and mayby DOMEX are options, but maybe you have a better way. DHL etc are pretty expensive, don't want to resort to that, And, that changeover for the online SSA access was ore of a pain than it should have been, just sayin'! I first tried by using ID.me, but the uploading of photos/ID from my phone just didn't work. (not trying to derail the thread...just asking the question)
They sent it to my DOMEX address in Miami.
They had me sweating for a while. I supposedly had a short window to receive the letter and enter the code on the login.gov website.
It took almost 3 weeks to get here, and when I got it I noticed it has been sent a week before.

That's the same page I got to before. It says "No information about your package"(?). It was sent 6 days ago.
