Interested in buying Jeep Wrangler TJ/YJ

Hello there.

I am interested in buying Jeep Wrangler TJ, only automatic transmission, only with stock suspension/steering/wheels/differentials/etc. Only with full doors and preferably with hard top. No matter what year, the older ones with 3-speed AT are OK.

Fully stock only! If I want to lift it or upgrade something, I am able do it myself and do it properly. So if yours already has a lift kit or something like that installed, I am not interested, unless you still have parts to reverse it to stock.

Good condition only.

I can also buy Wrangler YJ if it's automatic and preferably one of the last years of production (with fuel injection), but it's really depends on condition. I doubt that somebody has YJ in a really good condition in DR, but who knows.

On a side note, I have armored 2004 WJ (Grand Cherokee) that I would like to sell because I barely use it, so if somebody is interested in decent (low mileage and great condition) fully armored car (protects against all handguns and some rifles) that doesn't bring unwanted attention and not that expensive, I can sell it. DM me for details.

Thanks.

Do you have a special year car that you are looking for? I love my jeep wrangler but I need to sell it. The rough mountain rides are killing my back. I have two pinched nerves. My car is in perfect shape-
But it is a 2016.

I am looking for the older ones, TJ is 1997-2005, and also YJ which is the first generation Wrangler with square headlights and leaf springs, 1987-1995, and I am looking for 1991-1995 YJ with fuel injection.

I still see quite a few YJ's and TJ's on Marketplace. Some look to be in really good condition but you gotta have a lot of patience.

TJ's seem to be more popular that YJ's these days.

I prefer the YJ's myself. (Because of the dash layout)

Yes, but most of them have some ghetto-built suspension lifts and bumpers, fended cut-outs, wheel spacers, offset rims and other crappy upgrades that I don't need. Some even have upgraded differentials with different ratio for those big tires, and I have not seen yet a Dominican mechanic that can properly upgrade a differential, including proper installation of all shims, proper torque on bearing, etc (have you ever seen a mechanic in DR that has a torque wrench?)

In other words, I need one that nobody tried to lift or upgrade in any other way. Just a stock Wrangler. I have seen some TJs like that, but none of them are for sale (at least now). I am not in rush with that, sooner or later I'll find one, I posted it here just in case, maybe some expat has one that he wants to sell, you never know. All YJs I have seen in DR were in condition of an old tractor for a campo, but once again, you never know, maybe somebody has one in a decent shape.

I understood your requirements. I do not find modified vehicles interesting. All three of my antiques are factory stock.

Send pics of the Armored one, I may need it soon!
It looks like a regular Grand Cherokee of that year, you can't see that the car as armored, unless you roll down the window and see that the glass is 35 mm thick. Even the liftgate is fully functional and opens and closes like on a normal Jeep, although it weights more than 200 pounds, so nobody notices that the car is armored.

I won't post pics here, if you are serious about that, send me a private message and we talk.
