And more recently (8th. Dec.) it looks like Ceballos family have submitted another plaint for the killing of Fiscal:

Some 20 months after the killing of Fiscal Ceballos the 'arrest' appears to have been made on Thursday by police but without a judicial order to arrest, of a fairly well known media personality. He was released without charge. Anyone sense something not quite kosher about this?

It is now 2 years since the killing of Fiscal Ceballos. The plaint referred to above of December 2007 received no action whatsoever, according to the family in an article in today's Puerto Plata Digital.

Undaunted, they are about to submit another. No perpetrators of the killing have been charged even though, as will be seen from earlier in this thread, it is known who did it.
