Is the curfew ending 17 May?

El Ray. When your up to your ass in snow and freezing cold temperatures for four months every year, a warm sunny beach is a very attractive thing. For a lot of people it’s a party zone. For some it’s a place for family’s to gather. Costambar beach is filled with local families on the weekends. I enjoy the weekend there. For me, the uncrowded beaches in the Monti Christi area are more interesting than the crowded beaches in Sosua or Playa Dorada. Walking Playa Dorada beach and seeing drunken sun burned tourists surrounded by piles of empty plastic beer cups is not appealing to me. Beaches can be a blessing or a curse. Australia has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world but it has some of the highest levels of cancerous melanoma as well. Beaches can be discriminatory in some countries. Some are private and some are public. Imagine being denied access to a beach you lived near for many years because someone built a resort on it. Beaches have become garbage dumps. I’ve seen tons of persistent plastic along miles of beaches in the Samana area. The DR beaches, climate, and culture are the foundation of it’s tourism industry. A better coastal zone development plan would help in the long term to protect the beaches.
Be careful what you wish for DR1 ers lifting the curfew means the thieves will be out in full force..... I firmly believe the reason the curfew is in place is to stop the crime at night...

Don't forget to tie it to a stick. Can't have anyone getting in trouble over social distancing requirements.
This guy also wants to Bulldoze Sosua , I can only assume to get rid of all the businesses , hotels etc and keep the dirty Putas away ?
its getting really hard to figure out what makes people think the way they do .
then they must be building a new road. A D10 is a tracked bulldozer used almost exclusively for building roads, mining and moving overburden.
Business people put pressure on the President and he responded. The current plan does resemble some of the leaked information and it is subject to constant revision. Nobody knows how it will really end up.
I love the curfew starting 7PM.
the Barrio is nice quiet, no suspicious shaddows sneeking through dark corners .....
make it a permanent 9PM-4AM curfew and you get my vote for president.
and the statistic freaks will love the changes on crimes for that, lol.

nobody wanna spend his/her life under any restriction of a free personal decision as on When and Why and to Where to leave the house, at any time of day or night.
i can not imagine anybody to wish for such.
but under tha given circumstance here in MY Specific Area, living in a stand alone house half mile off the main road in the middle of Veron/Punta Cana,
if am in full agreement with the now running curfew.
of course only limited til things get together fine.
then i wanna be back to have a cold one and get my car washed at 10PM after work,to have it shining and ready for the next working day.

Well that would permanently resolve the "Harley" issue here in Cab.
