if somebody would not be here in DR,
why would it be important to know exactly when the curfew ends?
it is only important for us here in the country.
as for myself, i love to see it extended, better from 7PM-6AM insted of the too early 5PM, but i love to see it extended.
only a few idiots roaming around the hood on their bikes, the neighbourhood is nice quiet in the evenings,
break ins in my area went down to zero and myself i didnt pull a gun or waste a shot since over 2 months.
Life is good, and in a good home it can be even better.

I so agree. Make it maybe 7pm to 5am. Its getting hot outside. Walking the dogs in the heat is not easy. 5pm its too hot outside. Oh, hi Mikey!

7 pm to 5am is perfect for dog walking. I sort of enjoy the curfew. It's so nice and quiet and human free in the street.
Yep. Peaceful. Just you and your dog crapping and peeing up the beaches and streets! Freedom

From what I just heard on CDN:

Curfew is now 7 PM to 5 AM Monday through Friday, and 5 PM to 5 AM on Saturday and Sunday until June 1.
At least I think it was both Saturday and Sunday for 5 PM to 5 AM.. I see someone mentioned it could just be Sunday that starts at 5 PM

Many businesses , like hardware stores can now open.

The business sector seems to have had a partial win on forcing things to open this coming week .

Can you imagine all the desperate expats pouring out of their homes and clogging up the checkout lines at Pappatera and Linares to by chaulk and electrical tape?

as i assumed, the Curfew doesnt need the Senators,
Danilo just extended the Curfew.
I think the curfew requires both the Senadores and Diputados to first approve emergency powers for the president. Then the president can set the curfew as he wishes. That is one reason why the Diputados told him June 1 was going to be the end of emergency powers and not to ask for more.
