Celebrated Dominican singer-songwriter and three-time Grammy Award–winner Juan Luis Guerra was a winner at the 23rd annual Latin Grammy Award. His Covid-time recorded album, “Entre Mar y Palmeras” won Best Merengue/Bachata Album. The album was recorded at the Playa Esmeralda beach in the new Miches destination north of Punta Cana on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. This work was part of a live concert from Esmeralda Beach in the Dominican Republic, which debuted with resounding success on HBO Max’s digital platform.

The Entre Mar y Palmeras was released in June 2021 and it included 16 hits from his admired artistic career, recorded with the impeccable live sound of 440, among them “Rosalía,” “El Farolito,” “Visa Para un Sueño,” “La Bilirrubina,” “El Niágara en Bicicleta,” “Las Avispas,” “A Pedir Su Mano,” “Kitipun” and “Pambiche de Novia.”
