NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns has announced a formal partnership with GO Ministries and World Youth Clubs to spearhead the construction of a state-of-the-art basketball facility in the Dominican Republic. The announcement comes at a time when it is reported that Towns has signed a deal to join the New York Knicks, bringing him closer to the Dominican community and to a NBA championship.
GO Ministries already has a major sports center in Tamboril, built by JMF Arquitectos, SRL, the firm of Architect Jose Mella. Mella has designed and built about half of the MLB baseball academies in the Dominican Republic.
