PUEDE ALGUIEN EXPLICARME DONDE QUEDA EL KM 22 DE LA AUTOPISTA DUARTE?. ESTA COMO QUE UNO, VAS PARA EL AEROPUERTO INTERNASIONAL (AILA)? O ESTA COMO QUE UNO VAS PARA SAN CRISTOBAL? EN QUE DIRESION ESTA?... SI ALGUIEN PUEDE DECIRME, E-MAIL ME O PONGAN UN MENSAJE.... POR FAVOR GENTES LINDA....

Hi,

I'm not resident in DR, but I had some friend at the km12 ! ANd when I asked them the same question, they explain me that km12 is the disancia FROM Santo Domingo, TO Airport, along the HighWay !

Hector; la autopista que va de Santo Domingo al aeropuerto se llama Autopista las Americas. La Autopista Duarte es la que va de Santo Domingo a Santiago, terminando en Monte Cristi. El Kilometro 22 esta en la entrada a Los Alcarrizos, Villa Altagracia se encuentra mas al oeste, a 47KM de la Capital.

Pierre That is not correct; the reference to KM on the highway is distance to or from Parke Independencia which is KM 0 which is in the middle of Sant Domingo.

If i remember correctly KM 22 is a cross junction that has a Ferreteria with one road that sells all kinds of birds like ducks.

Yo vivia en Los Alcarrizos y la entrada de Los Alcarrizos esta en el kilometro 16. Se puede andar mas por la pista y se puede llegar al 22, se queda despues de Cerinca.

I just read your other post from earlier, Dec. 19- do you need directions from the airport or from somewhere else to KM 22? I used to live in Los Alcarrizos, KM 16, and then recently I lived at KM 17 off the autopista Duarte. Just let me know.

Km Veinte-dos, I stayed right on the outskirts of it for two months this past summer. There is a colmado and a veterinarian on the one corner and a discoteca across the street. I stayed in Garcia and in Batey Arroyo Indio, if any of these two places ring a bell, they are about 5 minutes away.
