Can anyone recommend a biography of Lillis Hereaux that is published in English?

Is it true that there is a palace/museum located in Santo Domingo that once belonged to Lillis Hereaux? I was told there was one, but that it had become so run down that it was now closed.

I've already read all of the internet information that I can find on him. I prefer books to the internet. I would like to know more than just bits and pieces of information.

I dont know about a museum in the capital but in Moca where he was assassinated there is a cool little monument/museum set up to commemorate the event.

macocael.....do you have a street adress or nearby intersection of that monument...I told Joel , Id take some picture on my next trip in november, for him. I dont want to rely on my GF for finding these places for me....they might have not been important to her growing up, and as such wont know about them possibly.
