The 510 is a true classic , 45 year old car. It was designed following the bmw 1600 and 2002. That vehicle brought the term econobox to the U.S.,many others tried to unsuccesfully follow.
Classics arent always about flash and being pretty, but about bringing back memories. Its a classic like any other cars from the late 60s, and has its own racing heritage. You may see the 510 in the country side or the occasional cruise night with cherry paint and wide 15x8 wheels, or bone stock.
So im giving the OP a good classic to look for in the DR, besides a 4 door muscle car (doh) or a classy jag that i would only take out on special
Occasions. Trust what i say, you will definatly turn DR heads in a 510.

Not much of a selection. I did notice that chevy c10 pickup with the step side bed.
Pretty cool! Baja panty indeed.

I was hoping to sell a property and move down there with any luck this summer. I have a 1973 Corvette. I know the rule about cars being over 5 years old but does anyone know if I can bring an Antique Vette like this over? thanks

Depends. If it's a real SS, has a big block and 4 speed, that's dirt cheap.

Have you watched Barrett Jackson lately? These things restored are going for mid 100's. Insane.

The ad says the motor starts and runs.

I'd be tempted to buy it myself.

Bingo on that one.

Lots of plain jane Malibus turned into SS's with not much more than a set of SS badges.

Same for the Pontiac Lemans becoming a GTO with new badges.

Bottom line is that if it has anything less than a 396 motor...its likely a clone.

Oh it was fun......

they used a light truck transmission.....
I would have ruined a 4 speed...... and it was Canada.... winters = slippery

I used 4 studded tires... almost hit from behind MANY times....
turned and stopped on a dime

In the case of that 69, it has a 350/700 engine/transmission, and is missing the left rear body panel and interior.

It does run and drive.

If it has a 350, it is not a true SS....unless the motor was changed out.

Looks like an automatic as well.
