Looking for input before I buy A/C unit

One thing to keep in mind. When locals use AC, they tend to have one setting: ON. If you ever traveled on a Caribe Tours bus, you know what I mean. The temperature can drop enough so you could preserve meat hanging in the room for weeks while they put on a ski jacket and for them that is proof that the AC is working good.

I had two ductless splits aux brand inverter types installed almost two yrs ago across caribe tours stop Sousa about $1150 us never looked back!

I have nine 12000 daizuki Comfortstar split units ( 220 volts) two in the house and the rest in the school. We have had them for about 18 months and so far no issues. We only use the ones in the house about 8-10 hours per day and they have only added about 600 pesos to the electrical bill.

Was that $1,150 US for both installed? What are the BTU the SEER ratings of those units?
