Unique Solution

If there should ever be a vehicle going to Portillo Hotel in order to collect used oil one might pass by the Las Terrenas petrol station.
They have a unique (or common?) way of getting rid of their used oil:
a hole in the ground.
The guy opposite the station had a well drilled and hit ....
yes, water, but with an Esso taste.

Gee, wonder why I am not surprised. And what do you want to bet that they are not unique at all??? :mad:

And people keep asking me why I worry about the waste problem in the DR, and what connect it might possibly have on the island's water supply... :mad:
