Just a copy of the front of the matricula is all you need. Nothing else except pesos to pay.

It's gettin' down to the wire, folks, and the government has decreased the number of places that you can purchase these "stickers". Some vehicles have more than enough "stickers" to last them until they're in the junkyard. You'd think the government would require you to remove the old one when you put on the new one!

I love it when they do this. Many of the concho wrecks they tow never make it back to the street again.

Even funnier is the clowns that can buy a 100K Land Rover or Range Rover, then get it towed for lack of a cheap sticker.

1,000 fine for a lack of marbete, 900 pesos fine for late renewal and the price of marbete itself, that's what it costs to have your car retrieved. nice.

Let the fines and impounds begin! We're in for some fun at the impound. They need to require marbetes for motos, too, and haul the ones that don't to the crusher!
