They deliver it to your house/office/any location via a third party delivery company.

If you're in Santo Domingo usually takes 4-5 working days. If you're in provinces, takes 8 working days or less.
Mine have been delivered by the same guy for the last 7-8 years.

But WHY....it annoys me to>>>>>>>>>>>wait for the last minute WHY
As far as I have seen, one reason for marbete could be the announcements they start making shortly before the deadline, where basically AMET/DIGESETT is announced to be in masses on the streets checking for the new marbetes. Perhaps this triggers people to deal with it. Yet, I think every year thousands don't even renew it, right?

Exactly. Whenever I've paid for the new marbete personally, I have been the only one in the bank (it's a small branch, so you see what others are doing) buying a new marbete, no lines, in and out it minutes...

I’m convinced it’s genetic 😂. Mr AE has lived with me almost 50 years and he puts off everything. I have a pantry that is the size of a colmado, (typical Italian) yet my daughter waits until last roll of toilet paper is used before she buys more. The other day she asked me for a tube of toothpaste because they were out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ She was born and raised by me in NJ but those genes are STRONG 😂

I also like to stay stocked up on things that dont go bad. Toliet paper, paper towel, toothpaste and toothbrushes, razors and all sorts of things. The only problem with that is that everyone knows, when they run out they are at the door asking to "borrow" I need a special cabinet with a key only held by me.
