One thing is sucks that they have disclaimer notice: Please note that this hotel is not currently participating in World of Hyatt and guests will not be able to earn points or tier-qualifying night credits, redeem points, or enjoy in-hotel benefits at this time.

Yes, Marriott is similar. Some of their branded hotels do not participate in their travel points program here.

It's about setting the right expectations.

Sit back and enjoy some luxury and study the behavior of people like Big in their natural habitat.

In my earlier years I did exactly this, and it was fun for a couple of days.

When my girlfriend and I managed to destroy the double bed, the female manager just laughed and let go of the payment.

I didn't regret it, but won't do it again

I just stayed at that resort for four days. They had great service and the food was pretty good. Concerning record arrivals in the Punta Cana area, I am having a hard time believing that. The resort was only 50% full and on the way home to JFK from the Punta Cana airport, the flight was only about 40% full.
