Are the prices on the website discounted once you join their club?
I'm asking because I just checked my prescription - at my local drug store I'm paying $ Cdn 571.70 for 30 days supply; your website is $ US 731.62 for 30 days supply. This is a comparison by brand name. For whatever reason I can't search generically, I just get an error message.

I would call them.... the Cdn plan may be cheaper
They don’t ship to Canada

You can do your on-line searches for generic drug safety from India & China - many which are suppliers to Latin America and Canada and some to the US.
There have been dozens of sanctions because of manufacturers falsifying drug data or quality and sanitation problems at these drug manufacturers.

If you are in frail health or take some of these India-China drugs on a long term basis you should double check the foreign pharmacy for prior violations and consult with a doctor who may have some inside track as to which generics are of acceptable quality - or not.

Curing heartburn is a noble goal but if you damage your liver in the process the heartburn will seem like a small thing.

What's one prime ingredient in manufacturing plants ?
Water - if you start with contaminated water the drugs will likely be also. Clean water in India is not common

Good read so far. Ah yes, always a good idea to have a visit with the fickle finger of fate.

If you have "elevated levels" more visits are required.

Look up "false positives in PSA testing". Here is the first article that popped up. Percentages for false positives are high.

Scary. Many prostates removed and impotence caused.....for nothing.

Mental anquish caused is half of it.

Big Pharma peddling the smack.

So , I had a scan end of April.....came back clear

My surgeon is an interesting guy... formerly an engineer in Alberta....
Latosinsky by name...from Manitoba

I said..Didn’t they send all you people out there , after the war?
He understood the humor

So now he’s giving me the good news - after discussing his childrens’ schooling

I say , Thanks
It’s a combination of an excellent patient and a good doctor.... he howls

Responds

I like the excellent patient part but don’t forget about the immunotherapy

How true is that
The Keytruda reduced the inflammation sufficiently to allow surgery
Removal is the key in my case... metastatic melanoma

Keep it mind if such misfortune passes your way

Semiannual scans are suggested as follow up.

Whistling through the graveyard......

I have more. :classic:

Unfortunately I learned them after joining the ColoRectal club last October. Immunotherapy is generally a last resort in my club, butt I am truly happy that it is working for you.

I used my Global Insurance for this (IMGlobal) nad CMC supplied the followup meds too.

In at 9 - out at 1:45..

I am going tomorrow to do my PSA test, finger up the butt and get my gonads checked out as I have one that gets a pain from time to time. Maybe it is scartissue from my vacectomy 25 years ago. My doctor is Dr Fausto Hernandez in Union Medica, Santiago. Did a hemeroid removal several years ago. Very good. Speaks some English.

That one is still n my list...

I asked about it yesterday.
The digital exam is the preferred route... to test the hardness of the gland itself.
All the rest can be by blood or sonar type exam.

I’m just trying to avoid the long trip to STI for that.... more local, would be better for me

More to report....

Immunology is new to almost all... uncharted to a degree

Subsequent to my treatment, a couple of interesting things have happened-

Vitiligo for one.... possible Lupus another
Both are suspected to be autoimmune related

Perhaps when you tamper with the immune system you screw up the ‘auto’ button ?

I need more tests to check on the Lupus...
The Vitiligo is for certain

An ANA test for the ‘titers ‘ is next and can be done here,,,RD

I suppose we can put this into a Sub-Category of Medical stuff....

My recent Dentist Visit

I have lost 2 rather large fillings recently...
The dentist thread got me going....

My Sosua girl won't leave the house so I called Cibao Dental (STI)
I go there for more serious issues - my wife won't go anywhere else.
Actually Big Bird went there..... I met him there once !!

Anyway... I got an appointment (2 1/2 hrs away for me)

When I got there , My friend the dentista gave me the full flattery welcome....
I should have been suspicious.......

It seems they were instituting a new sanitization procedure and I was the 1st candidate.
According, there was a camera man, lighting... the works.... to record the instructional video

I am now an instructional video estrella....... yesiree Bob !!

wipe feet
enter and take temperature
hands sanitized
gown and hair net and gloves delivered
then some plastic wrap stuck on the soles of your shoes

Your own mask at all times

I am recorded for posterity as the cleanest, most protected dental patient on the planet

The tooth fix didn't go as smoothly....

2 hrs+ in the chair.....no pain !! thank God
BUT
root canal and crown needed.....

The Sabaneta-Moca road is a disaster !!!
hoyos grandes !!!

The drive kills me

However... Bravo dog food and other bits
Nacional meats and more bits...

Left at 7:30am - back just before 6pm

dead flat exhausted

Now the return trip..... eartly June

They are doing emergencies only.... not regular visits

This getting old is not fun !!!

Falling apart like a cheap suit !!!
