I'm getting quite a (new) education in "rust" related items/topics. The past year I have done a 100% renovation of a large house that certain parts of it have already rusted. I'm glad I'm getting this education before I buy an item like outdoor dining table. The first item that bit the dust was my kitchen faucet. Completely eaten away like a mouse on a piece of cheese.I have since replaced but without buying an american name that I know well I'm not sure this will be any better.
Now the outdoor table and chair set. I want metal and metal I don't need to paint each year with 6-7 cans of expensive spray. Done that. Finished with that.
It seems to me the answer, at least for that item, is a powder coated product. I know what that looks like, feels like ,BUT how do I ascertain the quality of the finished product in the store? Hopefully there are some members here that can give some related advise.

And maybe, advise, (other than don't buy made in China) on all other items in the household.BTW I have already bought the refrigerator (Samsung) and I'm fine with that bc I bought the exact same model that I have in my apartment.

It would be best if you had the wrought the aluminum furniture AE mentioned not long ago. It's an outdoor place where Ave. Colombia merges into the Autopista Duarte.
Get something there and paint it.

I'd bet they're made with recycled aluminum cans.
