Miami art deco informs design of Dominican Republic baseball academy

US studio Jones Haydu and Dominican studio JMF Arquitectos constructed a player development baseball complex with a winged concrete form for the Miami Marlins Major League Baseball (MLB) team in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.

For the record, this isn’t the first Art Deco in the DR. Many places through out the DR have that style, almost all of it built during the Trujillo years.
