Excellent! My husband has been talking about going to Miches for awhile now, maybe we'll take the ride in January.

I am glad you put this up there. this is a nce short video that shows some great scenes from around Miches. It is there, ripe, for the big money boys to come in and grab it all.
John Bartlow Martin described those 25 kilometers of coastline as the "most beautiful in the world" way back in the 60s and so far they have remained that way. Uses mostly as the sick off point for "yoleros" on the way to Puerto Rico or the Shark Diner.

Depending on their luck.

Let us hope that they can bring this program off.

We were there a couple of weekends ago. Had lunch at La Loma overlooking the town, and dropped in on local craftsman "Cayuco" in his workshop. It made for a great day trip from Punta Cana on the scenic Nisib?n road. The state of the road is pretty bad and the 100+km journey took over 2 hours. We did have some very heavy rainfall though. We plan to return for an overnight stay at La Loma soon so we can explore the beaches too.
