Administrative Minister of the Presidency Jose Ignacio Paliza in the presence of First Lady Raquel Arbaje swore in TV show host Milagros Germán as new Minister of Culture. German pledged to work in favor of the arts and national heritage and to stimulate creative talent. The event that took place at the Ministry of Culture on 11 October 2021.
German committed to carrying out the task with great passion, enthusiasm, humility, integrity, and an important sense of responsibility. Germán pledged to work for all areas of culture, without exception.
Milagros Germán highlighted the good work done by her predecessor, Carmen Heredia, who was named cultural advisor to the President.
Germán had served as director of the Department of Communications (Dicom) of the Presidency until her new appointment.
