I disagree, ALL music gets annoying at a certain volume. It is a matter of taste. Once,a neighbor's friend was repairing a car next door, and was playing really, really loud rap. I asked my neighbor to tell them to turn it down, with no result. So I put a pair of speakers in the window facing the, put on the 1812 Overture and turned the volume up full blast.

It only took about three minutes before they turned their stereo down. All music can annoy at least someone. Good music and bad music are not absolute terms.

At some number of decibels, sound can blow out your eardrums and deafen you permanently. That is a fact. Unfortunate, but true.

In separate news, the DR just agreed to host Marylin Manson and 2LiveCrew's "Beat the Haitians" Tour 2014.


Before all the cranky people with no sense of humor reply, this is not true. It is satire. There is no such tour. I just hate Miley Cyrus and have nothing against Haitians.

my point was that it is the quality of the reproducing equipment that makes it unbearable. put 10 watts into junk speakers, and it drives you crazy. put 100 watts through good stuff, it is a joy to listen to.

While I don't like Miley Cyrus and I prefer to never see her live or otherwise, it is shocking and kind of funny that she has been determined to be too morally corrupt for the DR.

It's difficult to imagine loads of Miley fans amongst the average DR1 posters....................

I'm not sure she is aiming at us as a target audience, but I could be mistaken.

Same thing can be said about Americans....and still she generates outrage in The States, within her own people, who are far from being saints. Even many celebrities think her behaviour is over the top. Go figure!

Why, that is the BEST SONG by a female performer singing about her ass I have ever heard.
She does sound a bit like a cartoon duck, but all in all, this is a very watchable video.
