The media has been following the spending of the Abinader government in propaganda, promotion and positioning according to its communications strategies. Actually, the media presence of the Abinader administration has followed in the pattern of the billionaire spending to generate a good word on government inherited from the previous administration. Daily advertisements promote the bounties of the Ministry of Education and the Central Bank, and you name it in government.

Ummm, what bounties? The school system is a dismal failure. Nothing concrete is being done.

It will come at no surprise that the advertising agency will prove to belong to some family member of one of our government hot-shots... Same story as always... The more things change, the more they stay the same...

Now that they can simply issue an edict and inject whatever they want into your body as a condition to buy food or travel why bother with advertising?

It's not like they need to convince you of anything, they just issue an order.

This advertising campaign is a waste of money and involves unnecessary steps that aren't needed under a junta-style government.
