The number of police officers involved in the theft of munitions to sell to individuals and criminal organizations in the country and abroad is significant, according to Interior and Police Minister Faride Raful. She revealed that both high-ranking officials and lower-level officers were implicated in the scheme.

“It’s a complex investigation; it’s not just one or two people,” Raful stated. “In due time, the Attorney General Office, following the proper procedures, will inform the public about who these individuals are, their ranks, and how they operated,” she said when asked by journalists for an update.

This trafficking is just part of the institutional corruption that soaks government. Nobody in gov't points his finger at fellow miscreants and the same attitude is expected towards themselves. Prosecutors getting nowhere is part of the choreography.
