More free manufacturing free zones to open in 2025

The National Council of Export Free Zones (CNZFE) has given the green light for 12 new companies to operate within its tax free and labor flexible regime, representing an investment of US$66.65 million. The companies would generate 670 new direct jobs nationwide.

During the Council’s sixth meeting of 2024, it was revealed that the new ventures will contribute approximately US$21.6 million in foreign exchange. Their operations will encompass a broad spectrum, including medical device development and manufacturing, call center services, flooring production, tobacco processing, warehousing, furniture manufacturing, and more.
