The Covid-19 virus positivity rate in most provinces is below 10%. Only in five provinces and the National District, is it above 10%. as reported in El Dia.
According to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Public Health, positivity in Santiago is 13.30%, Santo Domingo province 13.10%, the National District 11.96%, Independencia with 10.76%, Baoruco with 10.27 and San Pedro de Macorís with 10.17%.
Provinces with the lowest percentages are Elías Piña, with 0.31 %; El Seibo, with 0.70%; Monseñor Nouel, with 0.66%, and Hermanas Mirabal, with 2.07%.
