My stuff disappears

When I write something it disappears. Can someone explain what I am doing wrong?

In the old software there was a setting to “view your own posts”. Sounds like you’re not seeing your posts, but everyone else is.

I found out that I have to log out to see my thread. It is a bit weird that I have to do that.

My stuff is known to disappear as well.
But only a post know and then.

Thank God this problem was much worse before the Great Forum Upgrade.

I have also had problem logging into the new software for months. But one day it magically worked again!

I am a happy camper, although as I somehow lost my status and went Newbie again, I can't see Off Topic

on desktop it's "Your Content" see screenshot. Mobile should be there somewhere.

I had one today that disappeared but the whole thread may have been deleted too. Something about commenting on taboo subjects gets your posts punted into cyber space.

I read that once stuff is lost in CyberSpace, the only one who can help you recover your loss is the NSA and Chinese.

Stuff I post doesn't show up on the right under new posts unless I log out. But if I go to the thread where I posted, the post is there. As above, the "your content" option works too.

after all, it's not a new post to you - is it?

You'd have to go back to the forum rather than refreshing New Posts. It won't appear in New Posts until someone replies to it.

This board is censored, they routinely delete posts for any arbitrary reason.

That's too harsh. I've had a few of mine deleted and it's because it's off topic. Some mods are very strict about that and others are not. But they are not arbitrary.
