Need Fingers Prints for FBI Report for Residency

Does anyone know where to get fingerprints taken to send to the FBI in the USA. We are applying for residency and our FBI report was rejected as it's over 6 months.

I don't think the FBI is going to accept finger prints by mail.

In Rochester, NY when I went back to the USA. I mailed the car in to the FBI. So I know they were accepting mail ins at that time.

Someone in Santo Domingo wanted, I think it was $250 US or more, to do them in Santo Domingo. I said no thank you.

Others have taken their own finger prints and did just fine with them for the FBI.
