A new drink from Guatemala has entered the Dominican market: Karma.

- Very new product, created in 2021.
- Other than Guatemala, it's in El Salvador and Honduras and now the DR.
- Its based on rum añejo with an alcohol level of 5% and should always be consumed cold.
- There are three favors for the DR with new ones will be introduced in the following years. They are Mango Diaquiri (lemon with mango), Mojito (lemon with menta), and Piña Colada (pineapple with coconut.)
- For now available in several colmados and in Sirena (probably in Sirena Market too.)

Have you tried KARMA? Your thoughts?

José Henríquez Díaz, he traveled from his native Guatemala to introduce KARMA to the DR and those are the three flavors.

Another event of the launching of KARMA in the DR.

Price is simply RD$130 (about US$2 and change) regardless of the can/flavor. It should be noted for now this is the only drink based on aged rum in the DR.

José Miguel Valle, also from Guatemala and a manager of KARMA.
