Seems introductions are desired.

I'm in the DR for 20 years as a tourist and now pastime resident, with family connections.
Other than that I have plenty of life, foreign residence and world travel experience.
Best to all of you.
I won't monitor this thread, just complying with guidelines.

I cryptically meant new here but old enough to have been around.
I did post a little on the Daily News- Record arrivals, as the tourism aspect interests me.

I was well adapt and I was well aware of what I was signing up for long before moving to the DR. Never understood why so foreigners move down here with no real understanding of how things (for better or worse) move in this country.
I guess some folks enjoy learning things (the hard way) as they go.
