A new baseball stadium has been presented by Santo Domingo Este's Mayor Manuel Jiménez. This is still a proposal, but now he presented an aerial render of what could be the project. It also seems should include two additional high-rises and something else, maybe an arena. Based on what it appears, it should be built on what currently is the parking lot of the Hipódromo Q Centenario. He is trying to convince either Santo Domingo's Licey or Escogido baseball teams to adopt the new stadium as the home of one of the teams. Currently both have the Juan Marichal Quisqueya Stadium as their home.
