The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic has placed in circulation a newly formatted $500 peso bill, with enhanced safety features. The main difference between the new bill and the old bills—which are still good—is the impression of a graphic representation of the Central Bank building and the vertical numbers 500 on the upper right part of the new bill’s face. The two persons on the front, Salome Ureña de Henriquez and don Pedro Henriquez Ureña, remain the same. The symbol of the Central Bank will change color under different lights while continuing to include the same safety features of the older bills.

Apologies to the community and the subjects in question for utilizing The Millennial Library, but it was done for the sake of brevity.
There are much larger written works to be found which detail their lives in a proper fashion.

Nothing wrong with wiki. It's succinct which is what many of us charter members of the Short Attention Span Theater Guild like. If more detail is desired, many of us can google.

The problem with wiki, is that they are often wrong, relying on revisionist history at best. Yes, a big problem.
Very good for a quick fix, shall I say quickie......but for correct, precise information it is lacking. The source, in this case wiki, is only as good as those who make legitimate contributions. Too often, they are incorrect, or simply short in the shorts.
It is a good place to start, but many will not achieve their desired results, and this generation leans towards not desiring to learn more than what is spoon fed to them. Correct, or not.
