Rocky's was in Sosua............New restaurant where Rocky's and the Chinese store were.
Coppa's will be the name of the new place. I hope they bring something different to Cabarete and wish them luck

I would not know, He blocked me from his FB Group . and we never discussed politics on that page, only Helpful Posts of Places to visit in the DRI saw Frank at the dentist yesterday. He was accompanied by a beautiful young woman.
He was friendly and said he was thinking of opening another business.

So i could not care less about his next Business Venture.
The Coconut Telegraph one . frankie dozenWhich Frank do you mean? Frank12/Genao, or Big Frank who owned the restaurant?
Speaking of Big Frank who had O"Shays, heard from hm a few months ago. He is alive and well in Philadelphia........................
Big Frank opened on the cheese steak place but it did not last very long. That same location has changed hands so many times I have lost count. I have not seen Frank back in the DR since he closed down the cheese steak place. Not sure if he still has Molly Malones in St. Thomas. Hoping that this new restaurant in Cabarete offers something different and better than the restaurants that are there now. The only ones I like are Latin Wok and Papi's. Mojitos is OK, nothing fantastic but as expected, their Mojitos are amazing. Had many bad dinners at Ojo's and Danny's grill....and if you want a great dinner, although it is not on the beach, then go to Le Bistro just off the beach by Pomodoros.Didn't he or his people open a Cheese Steak Restaurant Spot on Pedro Clisante .. or was that another Frank ? .
There were posts about the Restaurant when it opened, but then we did not hear any more after .
This WAS the place. Closed a long time ago. And Lou the Ex Cop from NY had opened it later. Lasted awhile and was actually a pretty good hangout...........![]()
Finn McCool's Irish Pub, Sosúa - Restaurant reviews
I recommend you to visit the restaurant Finn McCool's Irish Pub. Find more about this place with Restaurant Guru App.restaurantguru.com
I think this was the place ... anyone know if its Still open ?
Frankly speaking, and just to add to the confusion, Finn McCool's in Sosua was managed for a while by Little Frank who plays the harmonica in various bars on Cabarete beach!
Last time I saw Big Frank was at Finn McCools pre Covid on St.Patrick’s Day actually. It was a good gathering but in no way matched the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations at Jose Oshay’s, my favourite hangout for years. I was sorry to see it go. Rocky’s Agua was sleeker and cleaner but lacked the tattered ambiance of Jose Oshay’s. I visited Rocky’s Agua a few times, and chatted with Frank12 but it didn’t have the same appeal.Frankly speaking, and just to add to the confusion, Finn McCool's in Sosua was managed for a while by Little Frank who plays the harmonica in various bars on Cabarete beach!
